Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
The end of June this year is bringing lots of well-needed rain. As rainy days go, there are clouds and dreariness. As with our grief pain we can experience the rainy days and warm sunshine days. Some say the rain is cleansing from above, and clearing out the air, while our tears clear out and detoxify our bodies. Tears are full of love and healthy when allowed to come forward. They remind us of the love we shared with those who have died. There can also be happy tears as we share those memories and stories and are laughing uncontrollably. Don't be scared to dance in the rain to your own music! Enjoy the cleansing from above and don't forget, July 4th is right around the corner and you'll want to spend it, surround yourself with those who love you.
