Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
Grief in January may challenge us to look back at the year behind us and assess its ups and downs. Going forward now may mean you are leaving someone behind. This is never true when you lose someone you love deeply! They are and will always be in your heart. There are the three C’s to consider in healing grief pain. Choose, Connect and Communicate. Choosing engaging activities that promote your well-being, connect and surround yourself with those who love you and communicate your feelings. These three C's will help you navigate and move forward with a healthy you and your loved ones will never be forgotten and in your heart always. Healthy mourning and grieving leads to spiritual healing and growth.
