Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
As we know October brings seasonal changes. Our grief journey displays its own changes. we shift from the shock and disbelief when our grief pain is new to now, a year out or more and looking ahead to celebrating our loved ones Heaven day. Lots of ups and downs, emotions and changes scattered throughout the last year. It's important to look at our loved ones' Heaven day as a day of celebration versus sadness. Our loved ones are no longer suffering in their earthly bodies and are now free! Celebrate your loved ones' Heaven day with memory sharing and storytelling; lots of laughter and tears! A healthy way to grieve.
