Music & Memories
Broadcast for Sunday May 11, 2025
Covering the deaths from May 11-17, 2025

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

Happy Mother's Day blessings to all mother's still here with us and those mothers in heaven and in our hearts. When we experience the loss of someone we can't live without and love so deeply, the pain can be so overwhelming; it's hard to describe! Losing our parents instills in us, sometimes, the loss of self. As with losing someone important to us our whole world may shift. Let's focus our energy on all the mothers who provided the base of life and love we feel today! Celebrate Mom with memory sharing, storytelling, eating their favorite food, lighting a candle, and most definitely, stopping to smell the roses!!
