Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
As we near the end of July we sometimes marvel at how time flies; where did it go? As rain falls, we are reminded of the many tears we've shed and how cleansing we felt after. Mother earth also needs a good cry now and again. Rainy days can be challenging if you love to be outside, so this might be the time to sit back and read that book you've been putting off? Maybe calling up that friend you often think of but don't call. Maybe it's time to go out with friends or connect with family you've haven't seen in a long time. Rainy days don't have to be gloomy; make your rainy day fun and always remember; YOU are in charge of YOUR feelings; not the weather.
