Music & Memories

Broadcast for Sunday Feb 25, 2024
Covering the deaths from Feb 25 – Mar 2, 2024

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program on KASM. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

As we're leaving February behind, we are reminded of our own self-care. We are always busy with those around us, but many times forget about us and our own grief pain; why that might be well and good, we can't run from our pain. Since the weather has been permitting us to play outside, that is a good start spending "me time" in nature, trying something new, call a friend or venture out to places you've never been before. Pamper yourself doing those activities you used to love to do or find new ones, or just spending time with yourself. Either way it is all good self-care and it is time for you to be gentle with yourself.

This program is dedicated to the memory of:
