Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
Sometimes we can fashion our grief pain with the weather. The emotional pain we experience after the death of someone close to us can become overwhelming. Like the hot summer days with no rain relief, we feel so parched and empty. Just like the earth sighs with relief after a good rain, our bodies feel relief after a good cry. Tears are our body's way of cleansing and releasing of the pain we are feeling. "Love tears" are an amazing expression of the love you have for your loved one! Celebrate their love for you and your love of them by sharing those stories and memories along with laughter and tears!
