Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.  

As fast as it came in like a train, the caboose is out of sight! All of your preparing and anticipation is now over. There is a natural high and low that comes with the holidays. You may be feeling alone, sad and all of the emotions, now that the hustle and bustle is over. The dreary weather hasn't helped a lot either. When this happens, it's time for us to create our own sunshine. Watch your favorite movies, listen to your favorite songs, contact family or friends or just be. Our grief doesn't always have to be busy. Quiet times are healthy too! Here comes the New Year, with all the new chapters and the blessings that will unfold. Be gentle with you!
