Wade Dalton

Wade Dalton, age 55 of Long Prairie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 11, 2025 while working in Livingston, California.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Mark Botzet officiating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Richard Wade Dalton was born September 17, 1969 in Browerville, Minnesota to Richard and Connie (Line) Dalton. Wade enjoyed driving truck but his heart lied with his family and his friends. All of those countless nights spent just hanging out (with a tequila in his hand) and making friends with everyone who was blessed to meet him.

Survivors include his fiancé, Colleen Miller of Long Prairie; children, Merissa (Brandon) Durbin of Baxter, Taysha Marthaler (significant other, Mike Beach) of Motley, and Emma Miller of Long Prairie; four grandchildren, Alayna, Isabel, and Eli Durbin and Brooklyn Beach; mother; sister; three children; and three grandchildren.

Wade was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dalton; and grandfather, Wilfred Line.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
