Theodore "Teddy" A. Kuhlmann, Jr. age 60, of Grey Eagle died Monday, May 19, 2003 at his home.

Services will be Thursday, May 22, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grey Eagle with Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Ward Springs.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home in Grey Eagle. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m.

Theodore Kuhlmann was born on October 1, 1942 in Birchdale Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Theodore J., Sr. and Antonette (Terwey) Kuhlmann. He was united in marriage to Hope F. Pangburn on August 18, 1962 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Ward Springs. He lived in the Twin Cities where he was employed by Northwest Asphalt for 25 years. He farmed 5 years in Elmdale and retired to Grey Eagle. Teddy enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Hope Pangburn of St. Michael; children, Kellee Hughes of St. Michael, Brenda Holthaus of Zimmerman, Ted Kuhlmann III of Monticello; step-daughter, Amanda (Kuhlmann); grandchildren, Jessica Kuhlmann, Bennie Kuhlmann, Ronnie Holthaus and Haylee Kuhlmann; great-grandchild, Jeremiah Kuhlmann; brothers and sisters, Lorraine Snetsinger, Jim Kuhlmann, Fred Kuhlmann, Ralph Kuhlmann, Shirley Deters, Tom Kuhlmann, Diane Koehn, Bill Kuhlmann, George Kuhlmann, Garry Kuhlmann, Sharon Kuhlmann and Frank Kuhlmann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Antonette Kuhlmann; brother, Larry Kuhlmann.

Serving as casket bearers will be Brent Kuhlmann, Garry Kuhlmann, Jr., Rodney Deters, Jeff Deters, Josh Kuhlmann, Billy Kuhlmann, Jr., Ted Kuhlmann III and Bennie Kuhlmann. Cross bearer will be Jessica Kuhlmann and the scripture bearer will be Ronnie Holthaus. Honorary bearer will be Tom Ahrens.
