Sharon Kays

Sharon R. Kays, age 65 of North Branch, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota surrounded by family.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose, Minnesota.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday morning beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Sharon Rose Hinnenkamp was born September 28, 1952 in Melrose, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer and Rose (Blenker) Hinnenkamp. She graduated from Melrose High School, moved to Minneapolis and had a career at the Tennant Company. Sharon enjoyed skiing, dancing, and softball in her youth. After retirement, Sharon enjoyed spending quality time with her children and granddaughters.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her sons, Brent and Kayla Kays of North Branch and Chad Kays and Cassandra Waight of North Branch; granddaughters, Letty and Thea Kays; mother, Rose Hinnenkamp of Melrose; brothers and sister, Marv (Vickie) Hinnenkamp, Darrell (Suzette) Hinnenkamp, Renee Botner, and Glenn (Vicki) Hinnenkamp; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Hinnenkamp.
