Patricia L. “Pat” Loxtercamp, age 79 of Elrosa, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the Cura Care Center in Melrose, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 17 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa with Rev. Mark Botzet officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday all at the church in Elrosa.
Patricia Schneekloth was born July 28, 1947 to Gordon and Eleanor (Webster) Schneekloth. She was the first one of the family to be born in Sauk Centre. She was united in marriage to Eugene “Gene” Loxtercamp on October 23, 1965 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. The couple farmed south of Sauk Centre and while farming, Pat was a bookkeeper for various businesses including for the farm and some accounting firms. For years, Pat was the organist at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She used that talent and gave piano lessons to local kids in the community for many years. In her later years, she enjoyed volunteering for hospice and driving for Tri-Cap in Sauk Centre.
Pat’s favorite pastimes were mowing the lawn, traveling, and going on short trips with her friends. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and the Melrose Red Hats.
Survivors include her ever loving husband, Gene Loxtercamp of Elrosa; children, Gina (Joe Moog) Loxtercamp of Cold Spring, Chad Loxtercamp (Hazel Ponto) of Coon Rapids, and Chris Loxtercamp (Peggy) of Sauk Centre; seven grandchildren, Haley and Daniel, Bella and Gabriel, Blake, Brooklyn, and Nate; brother, Bruce (Janel) Schneekloth; and sisters-in-law, Mary Lunke and Judy Gustafson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Eleanor Shneekloth; and brothers, Bob and Tom Shneekloth.
