Paige Luethmers

Paige M. Luethmers, age 29 of Albany, passed away after a courageous, yearlong battle with cancer on  Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home in Albany, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 18 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa with Rev. Daniel Walz officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose.

Paige Marie Austing was born December 15, 1992 in Melrose, Minnesota to Dale and Lisa (Blommel) Austing. She grew up on the family farm near St. Rosa and graduated from Melrose High School in 2011. Paige furthered her education by graduating from North Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and Communications. Paige married the love of her life, Daniel Luethmers on November 24, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. They welcomed Reid Marie on March 13, 2020, the joy of her life. Paige was employed by Stearns Financial and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Christian Women. Paige made the world a better place with her smile and positive attitude. We cannot simplify Paige’s life and spirit into words. For those of you who knew Paige, you just know.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Luethmers of Albany; daughter, Reid Luethmers; parents, Dale and Lisa Austing of Grey Eagle; father and mother-in-law, Ken and Kathy Luethmers of Freeport; siblings, Adam Austing (Brenna Voss) of Freeport, Sam and Amy Austing, both at home; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric and Melissa Luethmers of Albany and Brad and Nicole Luethmers of Albany; nieces and nephews, Payton, Logan, Tegan, and Breckyn; and many loving relatives and friends.

Paige was preceded in death by her grandparents, Aloys and Helen Blommel and Elmer and Florence Austing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
