Marion Tembrock

Marion E. Tembrock, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022 at home in Grey Eagle, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 21 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ronald Dockendorf officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Melrose following lunch.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church in Grey Eagle.

Marion was born October 19, 1931 to Louis and Mary (Oevermann) Rehkamp. Marion grew up on the family farm near Melrose, MN and graduated from Melrose High School in 1949. She worked in Melrose for two years for the City Clerk Office and Dr. AH Zachman’s office. She moved to Elk River, MN in 1952 and worked for Rural Coop Power Association as a receptionist and then transferred to Payroll where she worked until May 1960.

Marion married Henry L. Tembrock on September 26, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Melrose, MN. They lived in Elk River, MN until 2014 and then moved to their home on Big Birch Lake near Grey Eagle, MN.

Marion enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a blood donor and member of the Christian Mothers.

Marion is survived by her husband and four children, Linda Hunt, Brooklyn Park, MN, Sue Tembrock, Maple Grove, MN, Jan Tembrock, Brooklyn Park, MN and David (Janelle) Tembrock, Lino Lakes, MN; four grandchildren, Nicole (Joel) Giedlinski, Jennifer Hunt, Carson and Joelle Tembrock; one great grandchild, Jack Giedlinski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard; and brothers, Leander, Robert, and Walter Rehkamp.
