Luka Thomas Brinegar

Luka Thomas Brinegar, 13 days old, of Sauk Centre, passed away in his mother’s arms and surrounded by family on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at River of Life Church in Sauk Centre.

Luka was born August 31, 2026 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Phillip and Ashley (Finken) Brinegar. He was a gift from God and was a blessing to have known him for 13 days. In his short time with us he experienced the warmth of the sunshine and the wind on his body. He was very close to a helicopter and rode in an ambulance, all boys love things that move fast. He also watched Disney movies, listened to church, heard songs being sung, was baptized, but most of all he was so very loved!

Luka was welcomed into this world by his parents, Phillip and Ashley Brinegar of Sauk Centre; siblings, Logan and Leela; grandparents, Phil and Darcy Pfeffer of Grey Eagle, Troy and Brenda Finken of Montrose, and Jhon Brinegar of Waco, Texas; Godparents, Ben and Kaina Schwindt; great-grandmothers; and many aunts and uncles.

Luka was preceded in death by one sibling in heaven; and his grandmother, Carrie Howe.
