Linda Blackburn

Linda M. Blackburn, age 71 of Melrose, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the CentraCare Health Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Linda Marie Merfeld was born April 17, 1947 in San Diego, California to John and Lee (Henson) Merfeld. Linda loved the outdoors, taking walks with the dog, fishing, and watching her shows on television.

Survivors include her son, Michael "Todd" (Sandy) Blackburn of Melrose; three grandchildren, Kyle (Nicole), Whitney, and Kendra; three step grandchildren, Candice (Matt), Nick (Nicole), and Ashley (Scott); one great-grandchild, Teagan; nine step great-grandchildren, Kolter, Cheyanne, Bridger, Aspen, Derek, Devyn, Kason, Brooklyn, and Hannah; and brothers, Garland Merfeld of San Diego, California and David Merfeld of Seattle, Washington.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lee Merfeld.
