Joyce Bertram

Joyce Ann Bertram, age 72 of Melrose, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at the CentraCare Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.

A private Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Mitchell Bechtold officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Greenwald.

Joyce Ann Klick was born on December 30, 1953, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to George “Bud” and Betty (Migalski) Klick. In 1978, she was united in marriage to David “Dave” Bertram, beginning a life together rooted in hard work, faith, and family. They farmed near Greenwald for many years, and after retiring from farming, Joyce worked at various local businesses as an office professional. Above all else, Joyce’s biggest love was her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (significant other, Jennifer) of St. Cloud, Keith (Karla) of Little Falls, and Dale (Katie) of Melrose; nine beautiful grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Diana) Klick and Richard Klick; in-laws, Vivian (Joe) Weber, Ginger (Don) Winter, Bonnie Kampsen, Bob (Marlene) Bertram, Jan (Frank) Imdieke, Lucy (Arlen) Albrecht, and Mona (Steve) Schoenberg; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dave Bertram in 2021; parents, George “Bud” and Betty Klick; sister and brother-in-law, Jane (Bernard) Meyer; and brothers-in-law, Dennis Bertram, Herbert Bertram, and James Kampsen.
