Jose Orozco Raya

Jose Luis Orozco Raya, age 42, of Melrose, died Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the CentraCare Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Burial will take place at a later date in Agua Gorda, Michoacan, Mexico.

Jose Luis Orozco Raya was born December 13, 1982 in Agua Gorda, Michoacan, Mexico to Octaviano Orozco and Alicia Raya.

He is survived by his mother, Alicia Raya.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Octaviano Orozco; brothers, Octaviano Orozco Raya and Jose Juan Orozco Raya; and sister, Ana Maria Orozco-Raya.
