James "Jim" Wiener

James A. “Jim” Wiener, age 81, of Sauk Rapids, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

A private family graveside service will be Monday, May 24 at Calvary Cemetery in Sauk Centre with Rev. Rick Aubol officiating.

James Anthony Wiener was born July 6, 1939 in Padua, Minnesota to Leonard and Amanda (Spaeth) Wiener. Jim was a happy man who enjoyed John Deere tractors, collecting pop cans for some spending cash, and watching traffic and visiting with people as they passed by.

Jim is survived by his sister, Juletta “Judy” (Norb) Odegard of Sauk Centre; brother, Julian (Cora) Wiener of Sauk Centre; and many nieces and nephews. .

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Amanda Wiener; sister, Celestine “Sally” Pawlak; brother, Claude Wiener; and nephew, Kenneth Wiener.

A special thank you to the amazing and dedicated staff at (OMI) Opportunity Matters, Inc. in Sauk Rapids. Jim lived in a few different OMI homes with wonderful staff that made his life so good through the years. A big thank you to the Wacosa staff that helped him with his work, making him feel very special.
