Greg Bosl

Greg R. Bösl of Sauk Centre, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a farm accident on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at his home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota at the age of 48.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Kevin Soenneker officiating and Rev. David Petron concelebrating. A private inurnment will be held in Long Bridge Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.

Greg Ray Bösl was born December 19, 1977 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Lemoyne "Squeaky" and Lois (Manders) Bösl. He graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1996. He was united in marriage to Rebecca "Becky" Hinnenkamp on November 5, 2011 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. Greg worked at Felling Trailers and Breitbach Construction. He then owned and operated Bösl Earthworks.

Greg will be remembered for the endless hours spent in his shop with family and friends. It was the place where stories were shared, loud music played, and safety meetings were held to ensure all problems tackled. He loved spending his time outdoors, grilling, farming, and operating equipment. He enjoyed target shooting, tinkering in the shop, and he could fix anything. He especially loved his video chats with "grandson" and making "The Way She Goes" videos. He ensured everyone felt welcomed when they came and that he taught us everything was better with butter.

Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years and best friend, Becky Bösl of Sauk Centre; daughter, Jolene (Grant) Reimers of Reno, Nevada; grandchildren, Layton and Codi; parents, Squeaky and Lois Bösl of Sauk Centre; Gaige Beckermann, who was like a son to him; sister, Beth Bösl (Chris Janssen) of Worthington; brother, Gene (Danyelle) Bösl of Sauk Centre; Hannah Christiansen; and many family and friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Al & Stella Bösl and Delores & Raymond Joarnt.
