Edith Paeglow

Edith A. "Jackie" Paeglow, age 79, of Melrose, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.

No services will be held.

Edith Paeglow was born January 11, 1927 in Bruce, Wisconsin to William and Pearl (Zimmer) Paeglow. She worked at West Publishing in St. Paul for 42 years. Edith enjoyed needlework and bowling. She was the secretary of the bowling league in St. Paul for 20 years. She moved to Melrose in 1998 after her retirement.

Survivors include her sisters, Hazel Raitor of St. Paul and Bernice Strauch of St. Paul; close friends, Janet Williams and Sharon Staley both of Melrose; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, William, Donald, Paul, Nida, Lois, and Irene; brothers-in-law, Rudy Raitor and John Strauch.
