Donna Mae Blaha

Donna Mae (Froelich) Blaha, age 71, of Albany, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Edeward Vebelun, O.S.B. officiating. Entombment will be at the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Seven Dolors Gathering Area in Albany.

Donna Mae was born on December 12, 1954 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Michael and Eleanor (Brake) Froelich. She graduated from Albany High School before continuing her education at St. Cloud Vo-Tech College. On April 23, 1976, Donna married Ken Kaiser at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. The couple later divorced, and Donna later remarried. Throughout her career, she worked at several hardware stores in St. Cloud, including Home Depot and Ace Hareware.

Donna enjoyed gardening and was well known for her Chinese noodle salad recipe. She cherished keeping in touch with others, often sending cards for every occasion, and loved spending time visiting family and friends. Donna was also a faithful member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Amanda (Amanda) Kaiser-Lee, Anthony Kaiser (Lindsey) Sister, Mary (Mark) Monroe of Melrose; grandchildren: Emily and Holly Kaiser, and Rylan and Carter Lee nieces and nephews Greg Monroe, Lisa (Christopher) Atkinson, and Melissa (Matthew) Crea; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Eleanor (Brake) Froelich.
