Deloris Sauer

Deloris Katherine Sauer, age 92, born August 25, 1925 to Emil and Cecelia Petron, entered into eternal life with the risen Lord on April 13, 2018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. The Mass will be preceded by gathering time, starting at 10 a.m. At Mrs. Sauer's request, there will be no viewing. A reception will follow the Mass at the Melrose American Legion.

Burial will take place at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, April 19 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Deloris is survived byer her sons, Michael and Timothy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom and Sally Sauer, sister-in-law, Bernice Sauer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 43 years, James Alois Sauer; sisters, Marilyn McIntyre and Harriet Hess; and brother, Alfred Petron.
