Craig Garding

Craig J. Garding, age 46 of Freeport, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 19 with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose

Craig Joseph Garding was born March 30, 1974 in Paynesville, Minnesota to Stephen and Mary Kay (Holthaus) Garding. He was a simple guy that enjoyed tinkering on vehicles, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Mary Garding of Freeport; sister, Robin Garding; son Avery Garding; nieces, Cheyanne Duckson (fiancé, Cody Lineburg) and Jocelyn Garding; nephew, Elisha Duckson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Lene Garding and Joe and Dorothy Holthaus.
