Corinne A. “Connie” Monson, age 93 of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the Cura Care Center in Melrose, Minnesota.

Corinne Alvina Erickson was born April 17, 1933 in Hobart Township, Ottertail County, Minnesota to John and Mable (Urbach) Erickson. She graduated from Frazee High School in 1949. She was united in marriage to Edwin Monson on June 27, 1954 at Loon Lake Church in Vergas, Minnesota. Connie worked as a food inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and as a cook for the Pelican Rapids High School. She also worked at West Central Turkeys for several years. Connie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and loved sewing wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. She was also an excellent cook and made the best soup! Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Barb Bertand of Long Prairie and Nancy (Mark) Tate of Grey Eagle; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Barry (Amy), Karne (Brandon), Beau (Shantel), Nick, and Kati (Josh); nine great-grandchildren, Lexi (Andrew), Nate (Lesley), Connar (Sophia), Aspen, Avery, Edward, Mary, Eden, and Elaine; two great-great-grandchildren, Jax and Isaiah; sister, Bonnie (David) Brown of Goodridge; sister-in-law, Delores Monson of Pelican Rapids; and many loving relatives and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Monson; parents; brothers, Kenneth and Gary Erickson; sister, Dolores (Gordon) Eckre; and brother-in-law, Donald Monson.
