Bernice Welle

Bernice C. Welle, age 74 of Spring Hill, died on Friday, May 30, 2003 at the Country Manor and Health Care Center in Sartell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 2 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill. Rev. Leo Leisen will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. St. Michael's Catholic Aid will pray at 7 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening.

Bernice Welle was born on April 27, 1929 in Spring Hill, Minnesota to Michael and Adella (Meyer) Welle. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill and the St. Michael's Catholic Aid.

Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Ray Welle and his wife, Alverna of Spring Hill, Leona Rolfzen and her husband, B.J. of Hibbing, Walter Welle and his wife, Lillian of Detroit Lakes, Juliana Verzuh and her husband, James of Billings, MT, Angeline Welle of St. Cloud, Sylvester Welle and his wife, Judy of Spring Hill, and Bernadine "Bernie" Sieben and her husband, Dave of Melrose.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Adella Welle.
