Beatrice Lucille Nash was born November 26, 1928 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Burton and Harriett (Lynch) Nash. She attended Red Wing High School where she excelled as a soloist in the Red Wing High School Choir. After graduation, she worked as an artist at the Red Wing Pottery where she hand painted dinnerware with her signature being "Rose" on the Orleans pattern of dinnerware.

Beatrice was united in marriage to Philip E. DuBois on January 5, 1949. Her husband, Philip, got a teaching and coaching position in Eagle Bend, MN where they made their home for the next four years. Her support as a coach's wife played a huge role in their success. She even washed the players' uniforms in all three major sports, football, basketball, and baseball. In 1955 they moved to Sauk Centre and became "Mainstreeters" for the 61 years. Beatrice continued with her talent and love for painting as she worked for a small needlepoint company for many years. She also put her efforts into raising her four children. To her children, she was seen as a mother of much wisdom, as they often came to her for her advice on life struggles. She would always say "don't worry, this too shall pass."

Beatrice was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church of Sauk Centre, Minnesota and a former member of the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Philip; her children, Steve (Sandra) DuBois of Kasson, MN, Janna (Scott) Larson of Highmore, SD, Kelly (Vance) DuBois-Gerchak of Moorhead, MN, and Jason (Julie) DuBois of Fargo, ND; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Harriett Nash; brother, Robert Nash; and an infant brother, Donald Nash.

Serving as casket bearers, her grandsons, are Riley DuBois, Benjamin DuBois, Isaac DuBois, Philip DuBois, Jarred Larson, Graham Larson, Alexander Gerchak, and Tanner DuBois. Rebecca DuBois eulogized her grandmother. Her granddaughters, Natalie DuBois served as cross bearers and Jessica Honza served as scripture bearer. Great grandchildren, Kieran DuBois, Kellen DuBois, Alianna DuBois, and Benjamin DuBois brought up the communion gifts. Special music was presented by Alex Gerchak, grandson, and friends, Susan Knorr, and David and Kathy Ferrierra.
