Harry R. Gamradt, age 87 of Sauk Centre, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Marty Porter will officiate with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

Harry Gamradt was born August 30, 1922 in Melrose Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Emil and Minnie (Jacobs) Gamradt. On August 5, 1944 he married Loraine Karsten at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. The couple farmed in Ashley Township, Stearns County until 1985, when they retired and moved to town. He was a salesman for Archer Oil for over 45 years, including serving as county manager. Since March, 2009 he had resided at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.

Harry was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, dart ball, and bean bag baseball at the nursing home.

Survivors include three children, Ron (Angela) Gamradt of Faribault, Lyle (Carol) Gamradt of Sauk Centre, Gail (Bob) Kane of Alexandria; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loraine Gamradt on March 17, 1990; brothers, Delbert, Gerhard, and Raymond Gamradt; sisters, Doris Klosner and Arlene Gamradt.

Serving as casket bearers will be Pete and Pat Kane, Chad, Jordan, Allen, and Ken Gamradt.
