Myron D. Henkemeyer, age 77 of Sauk Centre, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 25 at the Sauk Centre United Methodist Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Lynda Ellis will officiate with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the services.

Myron Henkemeyer was born September 11, 1932 in Fairhaven Township, Stearns County, Minnesota and lived with a variety of caregivers throughout his life. For the past 12 years he had resided in Sauk Centre.

He enjoyed working at WACOSA, boat rides, movies, concerts, summer camp, vacations to Branson, fishing, the pleasures of sipping coffee and drinking pop.

He is survived by housemates; friends at WACOSA; and numerous caregivers.
